Cassie Powell – Sales & Customer Support

Cassie has over 5 years experience within the contract furnishing industry and over this time she has developed a wealth of knowledge. Cassie is first point of contact for sales enquiries and is able to assist with specifying from our huge product range.

She also has a creative interest for interiors giving her the capability of specifying both functional and aesthetically pleasing products in line with ever changing trends.

Sian Mellor – Administration

Sian has been with Space since its conception in 2000; she understands every aspect of the company and ensures the efficient smooth running of the furniture division.  Sian’s involvement with the initial product selection, conception of the brochure and relationship with our suppliers, gives her the ability to source a wide range of interior products throughout Europe, to suit individual projects.

Chris Lee – CAD Design Manager

With over nine years design experience in the leisure industry, Chris specialises in 3D visuals as well as working layouts.  He can model individual bespoke items of furniture or whole room interiors, bringing conceptual ideas to life.

Gemma Anderson – Interior Designer

Gemma has an HND in Spatial Design and was awarded a distinction in her major subject of Interior Design. Gemma has worked with Space for 4 years and helped develop the CAD capabilities especially in 3D and mood boards, bringing our designs to life.

Gemma is artistically driven and also achieved A levels in Fine Art, Ceramics and Art Textiles.  Her fresh approach and creative talent together with her understanding of how to harmonise an interior, is a great asset to our interior designs.

Mike Mellor – Managing Director

Mike is MD of Space, he has been involved in suppluing the catering industry since 1984. He formed Space Catering Equipment in 2000 and recognised the need for a turnkey service offering kitchen and front of house solutions leading to the creation of Space Furniture.

Louise Chuter - Company Secretary

Louise has been with the company right from the start and is now a Director of Space. She has overall responsibility for the computer aided design, administration and accounts side of the business, ensuring these all-important functions run as smoothly as possible, and controls a team of 12 people at the Space head office.

David Griffin – Senior Project Manager

David joined Space in 2002 as the company's growth meant an increased need for experienced project managers.

With seventeen years industry experience before joining the team, David was the ideal candidate. Since joining he’s secured and managed a huge amount of new business and now heads up a team of 5 Project Managers, assisting customers throughout a project to final hand-over.
